Pricing questions
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once and get a license file valid for 365 days. Nothing renews on its own, nothing is charged again without you buying again. A subscription option may arrive later; it will not change how licenses already issued behave.
What happens when my license expires?
The app warns you 30 days ahead, then gives you 14 more days at full Pro before Free limits apply. Past that, the app stops letting you use anything over a Free limit (no editing, no running) until you delete something or reinstall a license. The lock is in the app, not on your files: they are plain JSON in your repo, untouched and readable with or without a license.
How is the license delivered?
By email, within 24 hours of purchase. It is a signed file you drop into Settings → License, or install with craftr license install. Verified locally with an embedded public key. No activation server, no account, works fully offline.
What exactly does $49 buy?
One year of Pro, from the day the license is issued. When it runs out you decide whether to buy another year.
Who handles payment and VAT?
Paddle is the merchant of record: they run the checkout, handle VAT/sales tax globally, and their name appears on your statement. Refunds follow our refund policy.
Per person or per machine?
Per person. Install it on your laptop and your desktop; the license file is yours.
All prices are in US dollars, excluding VAT and sales tax. Paddle calculates the tax due for your location and adds it at checkout, so the total shown there is what you pay.
